About Me

I'm originally from Basildon in Essex but I've been living and working in Liverpool since 2006. I currently teach at Mosspits Lane Primary School.

I've always been involved in the church and I currently attend Grace Family Church - being involved in the Cafe, Outreach and Media Teams.

In my spare time I'm involved in a musical theatre singing group called MASC Theatre Liverpool; I also write theatre reviews for the North West End Review.

I've been a primary teacher since 1998, graduating with a BA(Ed) from St. Luke's College, University of Exeter.

I've experience in teaching in a variety of school both in rural, urban and international settings. I've had the pleasure of teaching children from Early Years up to Year 6, and everyone inbetween. I've also lead twilight computing courses for adults and guest lectured at Hope University.

During my career I've been curriculum lead for:

  • Religious Education (RE)

  • Information Communication Technology (ICT)

  • Collective Worship and Assemblies

  • Creativity

  • Gifted & Talented (G&T)

  • Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Education (SMSC)

  • Personal, Social, Health and Economic education (PSHEe)
